First time using Chalk Paint
A litte preview of my project (and the mess I made) last night ...

It was my birthday weekend and I decided to treat myself to some Annie Sloan paint. It's been on my mind for a while to paint some furniture I received from my grandparents. I did a little googling and found a place that carried the paint. Aparently Annie Sloane is very selective with the stores that are allowed to carry it. In the future I might try and make my own chalk paint. but for now I wanted to try our the real thing. So I dragged the hubby to Stylish Patina, in Falls Church, VA to check out their selection. Very cool store by the way, I will have to go back and finish my browsing another day.
I ended up buying a pint of Pure White and two small jars of Provence and Florence. I am trying to make a Tiffany Blue color and my Annie Sloan research on Pinterest led me to a blog who specifies those specific colors. I know I will have to work on perfecting the correct ratio because I found several different variations in my seach, but supossedly I will only need these three colors.
More pics to come.
