Chair Sock (yes, chair socks)

100 Crafty Days, Day 21 Chair Socks

I feel like I am getting pretty good at crochet. I've learned the basic stitches (single, half-double, double, tripple) and I thought I was ready to advance to making something without a pattern. I had used up quite a bit of yarn while teaching myself to crochet (teaching myself left hand crochet was seriously a challenge), and all I had left was a bunch of scrap pieces of yarn. Using some of the stitches I learned making circles, I made up this pattern for crochet chair socks. The pattern is still in my head, but I will eventually write it down. It took a few tries to make a size that was snug, but I think they look great, and hopefully the snuggness will keep them from falling off everytime I go to move this stool. (I am short and this stool is my go to for reaching my spices, so I move it ALL the time!)
