DIY - Bundt Pan / Flower Pot Transformation

When we were in Savannah last month, we went to a little coffee shop that had these cute little bundt pans / flower pots on their outdoor tables with the table umbrellas poking up through them. I thought they were adorable. I thought, " Why didn't I think of that!"

When I got home I did some pinterest surfing and found this great pic from brit.co, its a post on 10 ways to repurpose cake pans. See original post here.

So while YES, this project is super easy, it did take a while to find a bundt pan with a center hole wide enough for my deck umbrella to go through. I checked out the obvious places first; Target, World Market, Michaels. They all had bundt pans, but the holes were not wide enough. I had to return them all.

As I was leaving Michaels I decided to take a peak in the Home Goods next door. YES! They had one lonely brioche pan. Bought it, brought it home and it fit perfectly.

As you can see, I didn't waste any time and filled my new flower pot with some organic Thyme.

Easiest DIY ever!

P.S. - Do you like my hand-lettered herb markers? The are coming up in my next blog post.
